The Sweather app turns the weather into a 1–10 score for your sport. Here are the questions people ask most.
Sweather is a sport-specific weather app for iOS, Android and Apple Watch. Instead of dumping numbers on you, it gives you one 1–10 score for your sport, running, cycling, tennis, surfing, golf, padel, climbing and 40 more, for every 15-minute slot of the day.
Each sport has its own weighted profile of 17 weather factors: temperature, wind, gusts, precipitation, UV, cloud cover, humidity, visibility, air quality, wave height and so on. Sweather pulls forecasts from up to 32 weather models, blends them with radar nowcasts, applies station bias correction, and spits out one number. 1 means miserable, 10 means perfect. No ambiguity.
Yes. Sweather is free to download on iOS and Android. One sport is free to use forever. Unlock all 47 sports, Race Day countdowns, commute templates and widgets with the premium subscription (€9.99/year, 1 month free trial).
Sweather covers 47 sports across six categories: field sports (football, rugby, cricket), racquet sports (tennis, padel, pickleball), water sports (surfing, kitesurfing, sailing, swimming), endurance (running, cycling, trail running, triathlon), winter sports (skiing, snowboarding, ice skating) and outdoor activities (hiking, climbing, golf, photography). Each one has its own weather profile. What's perfect for cycling is awful for tennis, and the score reflects that.
Sweather blends data from up to 32 regional weather models (KNMI, DWD, Météo-France, MET Norway, NOAA, Met Office and more), 5 radar nowcasts (Buienradar, Bright Sky, Met.no, Météo-France PIAF, GeoSphere INCA) and 17 station networks worldwide. Optional WeatherKit (iOS) and Apple's own data are supported too. The app auto-picks the best model for your location.
Yes. Connect Strava (read-only, free) and Sweather auto-detects your favourite sports, your usual training times and the locations you train at. It also retroactively scores your past activities and learns your personal weather preferences over time. No data ever leaves the device for AI training.
Yes. The Apple Watch app shows your favourite sports with live scores, full weather detail screens (wind, sunshine, cloud cover, precipitation, sun arc) and three complications: per-sport score, best time today, and current weather.
Sweather ships nine iOS Home Screen widgets (sport score, best time, weather, top sports, hourly timeline, multi-location, sun arc, precipitation), a Control Center toggle, a Lock Screen Live Activity, three Apple Watch complications and a responsive Android Glance widget.
For sport-specific scoring, yes. That's the whole point. A normal weather app tells you "20°C, partly cloudy." Sweather tells you "8.4 for cycling at 14:30, headwind drops around 15:00, watch the gust at 16:15." Different job, and the one Sweather actually cares about.
Sweather is available on the App Store for iPhone and Apple Watch, and on Google Play for Android.
